International Assemblers, Inc. was born in the fall of 1980, when long-time Santa Cruz County residents Dick Crocker, Stanley Capin, and Jim Price were discussing the difficulties faced by any small-to-medium size American Company wishing to utilize Mexico as a base for manufacturing. Having extensive experience in Mexican operations ranging from manufacturing, to mining, to retail sales, the three friends knew it didn’t have to be as difficult as it had become for many. We knew that we could provide great service and be cost effective.

New companies coming to Mexico traditionally reinvented the wheel, investing large sums of time and money in what often proved futile attempts at taking advantage of the possibilities opened up to foreign investors by the Mexican Government. Some succeeded, but many failed.

Dick, Stanley, and Jim hit upon the idea of forming an American Company with a Mexican subsidiary as a one-stop shopping service for American and Canadian companies wishing to set up in Mexico. Our intent was to cut through the traditional red tape, by providing all the necessary resources for our clients to begin and continue manufacturing in Mexico. By providing the requisite established corporate framework, we believed it was possible to take a client from concept to actual operation almost immediately, depending upon the level of service the client desired (i.e. Shelter or Piece Rate). Over the last few years, we have added order fulfillment services. We can ship directly to all your end customers.

Our expertise, gained over many years of working with and through the various U.S. and Mexico governmental agencies allowed us to work as heart and soul for any North American company in need of our services.
